Add a Place. V7 Build 323.2

The answer might be right in front of me but I don't see it.
In V7 Build 323.2 under File, Open, it seems there is an option to Add a Place. What I would like to be able to add is a sub-folder.
How is this done? I have tried clicking on the + sign , drag and drop neither worked.

File->Open->Add a Place->Local Folder
Choose desired folder and open any file in that folder. Close file. File->Open->Add a Place: your folder now is here.
BTW it is some tricky, I think ....

indeed you open a file in the desired folder and it will add the folder.

This is not how it should be however, you should be browsing for a folder not a file. This has been corrected for the next build and you will only be able to browse to a folder.

It is better with 324.0 but:
After selecting folder, it is appended to the Place, but Select File dialog will still be open. It is confusing for user.

I see what you mean about it being confusing. Having the save window popup immediately after closing the add a place window is rather disorientating...
