Re: V7
Hello,
1) Information about new releases mostly comes a few days later.
Information about the new features in Version 7 via videos:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/forum3 ... m.php?f=72
What is new:
- the new ribbon interface (the old interface still available via a switch option in the windows's title bar)
- automatic document recovery
- move pages dialog box
- OCR images
- re-compress images
- automatically expand content items
- making snapshots of images
- splitting pages now splits also related comments
- resize pages resizes comments and fields
- word count in the document
- add images in the snapshot area
- arrange/align content items
- duplicate content
- save and open the search results
- create new stamps or documents from selections
2) You can always best remove/un-install a previous version before installing a new one, to avoid that the old shortcut will not be removed.
Best regards.

Re: V7
Thanks for the assistance Willy,
THe version history will be updated ASAP!
The PDF Tools V6 desktop shortcut was a bug in the installers (already solved) - the version installed and launched by this shortcut is the correct V7.0 one, but it is just the name of the shortcut on the desktop that is wrong.
Regards,
Stefan
