Versions and upgrades

I'm a long time user of PDF-Xchange. Five years ago, I purchased version 5 and was very disappointed so I continued to use version 4. Now I'm using the no-charge version 6 and like it much better. I was thinking of buying it when I noticed a banner on the home page about Version 7 "coming soon". I'm apparently eligible for a small discount if I upgrade to 6 but would it make more sense to wait? Is there some sort of "free upgrade" window if I purchase now?

Hello Athena,

Version 7 will be released this week, and the date currently set for this is 29 Nov (Wednesday), but if you upgrade now from your existing license to a V6 one - the upgrade will come with a year of maintenance included, and as part of that maintenance a free upgrade to V7.0 will also be applied, so there is no need to wait, but it is up to you ultimately!
