Crash on using Snapshot Tool

Post by MJN » Fri Sep 01, 2017 9:36 am

I'm using the newest build and it consistently crashes on using the Snapshot Tool. Co-workers using build 319 does not experience this.

Also, while I'm at it -any news on moving comments with the arrow keys? Posted a while back that the increments are too large and it was promised looked at?

Regards,

MJN

Hello MJN,

Please try clearing the temp folder, and then please also go to Edit -> Preferences -> Snapshot Tool inside the Editor, and make sure that it is not set to e.g. 600 DPI, as if you take a full page shots with this resolution - the image will be huge.

Regards,
Stefan

The snapshot tool was maxed out at 2400DPI  It helped cranking it down, hehe.
Thing is -don't remember having touched the settings, ever...

Anyways -thanx a bunch...

Hi MJN,

I believe the default with which we deploy it is 72 DPI - and 300 is enough for most print jobs - so anything higher than 300 will only strain the machine without producing significant improvements!

Glad I managed to assist with this one!

Cheers,
Stefan
