Hello everyone,
Since which version of PDF-XChange EDITOR is implemented such simple and useful thing like:
possibility to open the same document in two or more tabs in the same programm frame (window)???

Thanksf for the post - It's not possible to open the same PDF in multiple tabs or frames in the Editor, as this would require multiple processes. The closest that we can offer the Window --> Split feature.

And one more. What about restore Last View Page when opening PDFs. V322.5, it still doesn't work. But It worked before properly. True, I don't remember in which version it worked.

Window -> New Document Window

Same document in as many tabs as you like. Tabs are even synchronized, so any edit/change you do in one tab is reflected in the other tabs.

I didn't know this feature existed until just now. Took me some seconds to find out about it.

This is a known issue to which a developer has been assigned. This should be fixed in the next build release.

How many tabs do you need? You can get all of them!

Thanks for that Timur! Rather embarassingly, I wasn't aware of that. You learn something new every day

I was rather surprised myself, because the documentation specifically states "new window" for this feature. But obviously this behavior is overridden by the preferences for tabs and windows. Quite useful, especially since operations like Undo work in every tab, regardless of where where you did changes (change in one tab, undo in another), which makes sense.

You can even use different splits in different tabs. And when you close all and then use the "Reopen recently closed documents" function it will only open a single tab of the single document, including the most recently applied split view.
