pdf xchange crashes when printing

pdf xchange crashes when printing

I have a user with pdf xchange pro. When he tries to print from pdf xchange, the program completely closes out. The issue is very similar to this:

The only problem is that the drivers are already updated. Other users can also print to those printers using pdf xchange. I have tried removing the printers and reinstalling them with the drivers. I have tried repairing pdf xchange. Once that didn't work, I uninstalled and reinstalled the program. We are all on Windows 10, with the same printers and drivers. This doesn't happen with a specific document, it happens with any document, and on any printer we try.

Hi kjensen,

Thanks for the post - As per the KB article, please try using MS Notepad and see if that crashes. Please specifically test with Notepad, as it ensures that the same drivers are used.

If Notepad also crashes, then the issue is as described in the KB and you will need to contact your manufacturer directly.

So, Notepad also crashes. Could the issue really be with the print drivers, as he is the only user having problems with it?

Hello,

If Notepad also crashes, the issue is most certainly the drivers.

Why this is occurring on only one system I cannot say. Have you tried reinstalling the printer using the latest available drivers?
