Hey,
We have to create several new documents every day by scanning letters and saving them as a PDF-File- This is why we bought PDF-XChange Editor pro (latest update). Unfortunatly we don't succeed in making good scans.
With the automatic paper feed the scan result is a mess (see file).
We use
Scan 1: HP Office Jet (both USB and WIFI, TWAIN and WIA)
Scan 2: Epson Work Force (both USB and WIFI, TWAIN and WIA)
and just to try in an agency next dooe Scan 3: Ricoh MP C3004SP (both USB and WIFI, WIA)
System: Windows 10 (latest update)
The easiest solution was to change the software, but we also need other features of the PDF-Xchange Editor.
Any Idea of what's going wrong? Our idea is, that your software has a problem with the international A4 Papersize. The size of the produced PDF documents are definitely not A4, although the settings of the scanner and the software are correct.

We tried it in two ways:
PDF Tools
- "Als PDf scannen" (scan as PDF)
- "Bilder vom Scanner holen" (take documents, (images, pictures) from document)
- "Dialog beim Ausführen anzeigen" (show scanner dialogue before scanning"
- "choose automatic paper feed in the scanner's dialogue"
SCAN several papers and SAVE them as PDf File
PDF Xchange Pr
- Choose "Datei" (File"
-" Neues Dokument" (New document)
-"vom Scanner" (with scanner)
SCAN wit automatic paper feed and SAVE as PDF File
It's the normal use of a scanner with PDF Xchange! Nothing special! Just scan several papers - with an automatic paper feed of your scanner. Just put one ore more papersheets on your scanner, click scan and watch the result.
If we put the papersheet right on the glass, everything is fine! If we use the automatic paper feed it's a disaster. No matter which scanner or which laptop installation, desktop installation is used.

It seems that the issue is with MRC compression.
Please specify in "Image Compression" any compression except Auto or Multi Raster Compression (MRC) in "True Color" and "Grayscale" sections.
