Looking for way to bulk edit bookmarks

Without boring you with all the details, I'm trying to find a way to bulk edit a xcbkm bookmark file. All the bookmarks have underscores separating the words, like_this_for_example, and I'd like to remove them. I couldn't find a way to do it directly in PDFXC Editor so I was wondering if it's possible to convert this file to txt or rtf format, edit it, then convert it back. Or if someone has a better idea. . . .

If you're using the paid version, go under Advanced...Bookmarks...Find and Replace Bookmark Text. Then search for _ and replace with a space.

It will work regardless of your version, but if you're using the free version, it will put watermarks on every page when you save.
