Fullscreen Requests: Changing Hotkeys & Page Number Input
So when opening a viewing a PDF then hitting F11, you enter Fullscreen mode, this mode is great because I love that I can turn it off by pressing the number pad 2 key, but I would love it even more if I could change this key to something else, perferably something like Sihft+2 or Alt+2.
Second I would like to have a way of entering a page number and for it to take me there because using the scroll wheel to scroll through 250+ pages is slow.
I'm refering to this little bar
to be something more like this

Hello Special,
Thank you for the post. I have created a formal feature request for this.
FR:Show page number in navigation toolbar while in fullscreen
Please note that this does not guarantee implementation. Only that the request will be considered by the dev team.

Re: Fullscreen Requests: Changing Hotkeys & Page Number Input
Small cosmetic issue: navigation bar is flickering every page turn in Single Page mode,
in other modes (Continuous, Two Page, etc.) - working fine.

It's impossible to lead us astray for we don't care even to choose the way.

Re: Fullscreen Requests: Changing Hotkeys & Page Number Input
Hello Ovg,
What do you mean by "Flicker"? For me it seems to be fading in when I get my mouse near where the toolbar appears, and then fade out when I move my mouse away from that area and over the document itself. And this seems to be consistent in all page modes.
Regards,
Stefan

Re: Fullscreen Requests: Changing Hotkeys & Page Number Input
Thanks Ovg,
Now I see what you mean! I was using e.g. arrow keys to change the pages - and it was fading in/our for me with all options.
Will check with the devs whether this is intentional, and if not - we will see to fix this visual bug.
Regards,
Stefan

Thank you, Stefan!
Once more question: is here a way to save initial layout (eg Single Page Continuous) for FullScreen Mode?
For me FullScreen Mode always starts in Single Page layout.

Re: Fullscreen Requests: Changing Hotkeys & Page Number Input
Hello Ovg,
Does the Preferences (Ctrl+K) -> Page Display -> Initial layout help?
If not - I am afraid that there's currently no way to set a different default for full screen.
Regards,
Stefan

Re: Fullscreen Requests: Changing Hotkeys & Page Number Input
Hello, Stefan!
Unfortunately it doesn't work for FullScreen mode. I have this option set to Continuous long ago.
Can I ask you to make feature request?

Re: Fullscreen Requests: Changing Hotkeys & Page Number Input
I tried using full screen so I could check out the new features on the toolbar. When I switched to full screen all I could see was a small dot, no toolbar. The dot can be seen in the screenshot below, it is below and off to the left of the blue door, right next to the mouse pointer.
I have the toolbar set to show in full screen options. If I reset all settings, the toolbar shows up just fine in Windows XP 32 bit or Windows 7 64 bit. Is there some setting on another screen I am forgetting about that affects this?
I seem to have caught a bad bug so I am not at 100% today. Thanks.

It seems that this behavior is due to transition which applied only in Single Page layout.

Re: Fullscreen Requests: Changing Hotkeys & Page Number Input
Hi Ovg,
Can you tell me which transition causes the flickering for you? I cant seem to replicate it, mine fades temporarily, but that is to be expected.
Arnold,
Sorry to hear you are unwell, best wishes,
Could you send me a cipy of your old settings before the reset? I would like to reproduce this here as well.

Hi Daniel!
Any transition will yield this fading/flickering of Navigation Toolbar
Please look at viewtopic.php?p=123839#p123799

Hi Arnold,
It seems that the navigation bar is hidden along with all the other toolbars. Pressing F8 before entering fullscreen mode solves this!

Re: Fullscreen Requests: Changing Hotkeys & Page Number Input
Is there any way to change that behavior? I see other people's screenshots. I don't think I am alone in trying to have only the title bar with only the Quick Access and Quick Launch toolbars visible.

Re: Fullscreen Requests: Changing Hotkeys & Page Number Input
Currently no,
However you can remove the all the toolbars by right clicking on the ribbon tabs and simply uncheck everything.
This allows the navigation pane to remain visible in fullscreen mode.
