Typewriter mode

Post by prr »

I have PDF XChange editor 6.0.309 installed. It is the free version.

Is the typewriter function available, or is it only in the pro version? I tried last night and couldn't get it working.

The most recent version of PDF-XChange Editor is 6.0.320.1
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/produc ... nge-editor

All features of the Editor are fully functional. The only thing is that when you are using PRO or PLUS features, they will add publicity stamps to all the pages of your PDF. In that case, you will get a warning before.

Typewriter is a commenting/annotation tool. So make sure that the Commenting toolbar has been activated.
Typewriter is a FREE feature and should be working correctly.

If not, then you should be able to resolve the problem via Edit > Reset Settings...

Best regards.

Got it now. Not sure what the deal was (my commenting toolbar was activated). I have typically gone into the Tools menu, but didn't see how to engage that typewriter function. I went in again this morning and it worked just fine.

Thanks.
