Copy-paste strips spaces between words

Ever since I updated to build 318.1, spaces are being stripped from between words when I copy and paste from PDF XChange editor. I've tried several different settings changes and reimported my settings from a backup to no avail. This is rendering the spelling checker unusable, too. Do you have any idea what could be causing this, and how I might fix it?

Please check one option value:
Menu/Edit/Preferences/PageText tab/CopyTextOpts/CopyWhiteSpace mode

Try to set the 'Distance words proportionally' or 'Only one white space between words'..

Thanks; I already had "Only one white space" set; switching it to "Distance words proportionally" is no change. I find that this is happening with some PDFs but not others. Could it be a function of how the PDF was made?

Hi Patrick. Apologies for the long delay. Unfortunately, I'm not able to send a PDF. But I will add that the problem has persisted through to the latest version; rolling back to build 317.1 fixed the issue.

Thanks for the post - Unfortunately we cannot help without some kind of a sample. Is there any, non-proprietary sample with which you are able to reproduce the problem?
