Window position changes

Post by Zunar »

Our program in the company uses editor and opens through a command stored PDF. When I close the editor with X and PDF visits again, then the window is moved slightly downwards. Close and I open it again, it is again a few cm downwards moved, etc. Use CTRL-Q does not happen!
When I open the PDF directly in Windows File Manager, and end by X, everything is OK. The next time you open the PDF remains the position.
The "Viewer" retains its position even with X.

Hi Zunar,

Thanks for the post - there was a known issue with the window position in build 318 and was corrected for build 318.1. Please make sure that you are using the latest release:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/PDFXVE6.zip

HTH!
If posting files to this forum, you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded.
Thank you.

Hi Zunar,

How are you opening the files? You say it works when opening the file by double clicking in Windows File manager but not when you open it using:
the company uses editor and opens through a command stored PDF.

I am not sure I understand this. Do you have links in a PDF file? Is it a command line command? We would need to reproduce the issue in order to fix it and it seems to me that we need to understand the specifics of how you open the file if not using the Windows file manager.
Best regards

Hi Zunar,

We've received the video and have managed to reproduce the issue here. This has been passed to the Dev. Team for further investigation.

Cheers,

Hi Zunar,

Small update: I've created an internal development ticket to track the progress of the issue. The ticket number is RT-3693.
