v6 printer driver bug
Hi,
The driver does not obey the option to unload itself after a given period, so stays loaded until the next boot if not manually closed.
It was like this in v5 too.
Cheers

Hello DrTeeth,
I will ask our drivers developers to look at this, but may I first as if you are using the Standard or Lite printing drivers?
Regards,
Stefan

Re: v6 printer driver bug
Hi Stefan,
I think it is the Lite version. It is the one that is included in the PDF-XChangeEditor v6 installation file.
Cheers

Thanks DrTeeth
The developer that works on this is away for a couple of days, but I will ask him to take a look when he is back later this week.

Stefan

Re: v6 printer driver bug
Hi GrTeeth,
We are planning to release a new build (317.1) next Monday to fix some other issues with the Lite driver, but I can't make any promises for this one in particular. Even if it doesn't unload - the memory used is just a few MB - so hopefully this isn't too much of a problem!
Regards,
Stefan

Re: v6 printer driver bug
Hi,
I' am using a licensed XChange Editor plus. XChange Lite V6 does not work also in the newest build 317.1.
I 've deinstalled the former version completely before installing build 317.1
Operating system : Win10
A very general error message occurs. -> WINDOWS cannot print due to printer set-up problem.
B.t.w. :
1. PDFCREATOR works......
2. old pdf-XChange V2 works also....

Thanks for immidiate reply...
I' ve followed the thread and I've tried to download the *bat-file you have mentioned in this thread.
but the link redirects to Tracker-Homepage only . Hence, the required XPSSVCS.DLL cannot be installed.
Please let me know where I have access to the required file....
Thanks in advance!
