How to move a text block onto another page?

Assume I have loaded an existing big pdf file into PDF Xchange editor.

Now I activate "Edit content" and mark a certain block (rectangle) e.g. on page 17.
I can drag this block on another position on the same page without any problems.

But it seems to be NOT possible to move this block onto another page (e.g. page 16).
I can see the block frame when I try to drag it on page 16. But as soon as I release the mouse button no text is visble.

How can I drag & drop a text block from one page to another?

Hello Matt,

I am afraid that moving of base content between pages is not yet possible. While it seems like your object is dragged over another page - in reality it currently stays in the coordinate system of the same page it is already on, but just moved outside of the visible (crop) area for that page.

We are working on adding the ability to move objects between pages in a future build.

I do this all the time with Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V. The object then is placed at the exact same position on the other page, which is great.
