show page numbering labels in Thumbnails pane

Hi,
I tried to implement page number labeling with the menu command "Document/Number pages", like this: Увод - I, Увод - II, Увод - III,... for the first 18 pages. In help manual it is said the labels should be seen in Thumbnails pane ("using the page numbering affects the page thumbnails / Thumbnails pane").
But I see no change anywhere. Page properties show that my label is accepted but I see no change in the page field at the bottom or in Thumbnails pane.
What do I do wrong? There is a picture attached showing how this looks like.

Thank you for the post.

In order to see the changes made from Document -> Number Pages you need to turn on the logical page numbers.
You can do this from Edit -> Preferences -> Page Display. Once there, turn on 'Use logical page numbers' (see the attached screenshot).
