Open file from search results - File status changed?

- I searched "in folders" and got the list of results.
- I (single!)-click on the file in the result list and it will be opened.

-->> The file-name in the result-list displays an alert-symbol and tooltip tells me:

"The source of the document has changed... you should search again."

a) Bug or feature? (What has really changed?)
b) What is meant: the source or the document or the source of the document?

Hi Peter,

Does this happen with all files or just a particular one?
Are there any form fields or any dynamic content in that file (that is e.g. generated every time you open it)?

Can you please send a screenshot with that search field and message?

Is that D: drive a local hard disk or is it a mapped network resource?

I use it as X:\ as mapped network, but it is also D:\ local. And it happened in D:\ and x:\

EDIT: It happens also on C:\

Have you tried resetting all Editor settings and has that made any difference?

Yes, also after resetting: One file displays it, another not. Also the setting "Farbige Suchergebnisse" (coloured search results) seem to be activated always ...

Hi Peter,

There might be some errors in that file that the Editor can fix on the fly, and if this happens when the file is opened - the source does get changed, and the warning in the search pane appears. When I used File -> Save As... to resave your sample document under a different file name - the error in the search pane no longer happens for the new file.

The issue from the above ticket should have been fixed with build 317.1. Can you please confirm it is resolved at your end as well?
