3D PDF's

Hi,
In our company there has started to emerge 3D PDFs from our suppliers. We have to now install Adobe reader for people to able to view them.
Is the support for 3D PDF's coming soon to PDF-XChange Editor too?

Hi pctuki_fg,
Thanks for the post - we do plan to implement support for 3D PDF's, but it's not likely to be soon. It's an extremely complex and time consuming implementation and, for now, I'm afraid that we have higher priority items taking precedence.

We also need this. Bentley View (free download) provides the ability to create 3D PDF from most CAD file formats. Then we need to "merge" the 3D PDF into the master PDF. After merging, we will need to be able to move the 3D View object (Rich Media) to a specific page and resize it.

I am afraid that viewing 3D content inside our products is still not possible and some time away

viewing 3D PDF files is also an important feature for us.
Do you have any timeframe for the implementation?
