[SOLVED] Bug printing out to priPrinter

Post by samStan »

Hello,

There is a bug printing out some files to priPrinter (virtual printer).
Here is how it occurs, if priPrinter is not running and gets called via PDF-XChange Editor then I get this bug with many files. If priPrinter is already running then it's ok.
I tried different PDF Viewers (including PDF-XChange Viewer), no problem whether priPrinter is running or not.
So it must be a "PDF-XChange Editor" bug.

Sample file included.
Here is what the bug looks like (click the thumbnail for full view)

Image

Windows 7 (64 Bit)
PDF-XChange Editor 5.5 (Build 315.0)
priPrinter Professional (64 Bit) v6.3.0.2387

Hi samStan,

Thank you for the post.

Please try to enable the Editor's text rendering mode (when printing) to Outline for embedded fonts and check if this solves the problem.
To do this, please go to "File -> Print...", click on "More..." in the Advanced Print Option tab. Once there, look for "Text Rendering Mode:" and choose "Outline for Embedded Fonts" from the drop-down menu (see the attached screenshot).

Regards,
Radi
