How to shrink page margins and re-format/re-flow text?

Post by mattad »

Assume I have a pdf document like the attached one.

As you can see the margins at the left, right, top, bottom border of each page are very, very big.

How can I shrink them to e.g. 1 centimeter resp 30 pixels each?

How can I tell Xchange Editor to re-format/re-flow the text to new new margins resp. to the new line width?

Thank you
Matt

Hello mattad,

Thank you for the post.

You can crop pages in the Editor from Document -> Crop pages.
How do I Crop Pages

Once you finish cropping your page - you can resize it from Document -> Resize pages. You can also shrink the content of the page using this tool from the "Transform content together with selected pages" option.

Unfortunately, re-flowing the text in a PDF document is not as simple as in your common word processing software. Most of the lines in your documents are different text objects and some are not text at all, they are curves. You can imagine how hard it could be for any software to re-flow such combination of objects.

Regards,
Radi
