Hello All,
Looking for a way to disable auto update via GPO. We deployed PDF XChange Editor 5.5 build 313.1 as part of PDF XChange Pro 2012. Is there simply a registry setting or config file that I can either edit or change so that it will disable the auto updater?
Thanks in advance,
Tucker

Re: Disable Auto Update via GPO
Update: manually running that REG files works fine to install them but I am trying to add the keys through GPO and it is not creating them. Any suggestions?

Hello tuckerv77,
Is there a way for you to apply a "run once" registry change that is applied on the next user log in? There should be options in your distribution/management software that should allow you to do so.
Regards,
Stefan

Hi tuckerv77,
absolutely you should be able to apply the reg changes using a GPO. Here is an example of how one might do it.

Let me know how this goes for you?
