Bug opening a fille from commandline

Post by hartmut schaefer »

Minor issue of the editor with file paths:
The editor fails opening a file like this 'D:\Path\Path#1\.X\file.pdf' when specified on commandline. Drag'n Drop works.
PDF-XChange Viewer has no problem with it.

Hello Hartmut,

Thank you for the post.

Which version of the Editor are you using? You can check your version from the main menu -> Help -> About.
There is a known issue in build 314, that results in an error when files have a hash (#) symbol in the name or path. This bug is fixed in build 315.
Please try it if you have build 314 installed:

Indeed I was still using b314. Didn't notice the new release b/c I was on holiday :D
With b315 it's working.
Thanks, HS2

:)
If posting files to this forum, you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded.
Thank you.
