Exporting OCR'd Document to Excel or CSV

Was wondering if there is the capability of saving an original document as a new OCR'd document,
then editing the text overlay in the new document (if needed), then exporting the text/ocr'd portion
to a CSV or Excel file using PDF-XChange Editor?

I've looked everywhere I could think of in the program and only see a way to export picture files...
I found no way to edit the ocr'd text portion nor export the ocr'd portion to csv or excel...

Please let me know if you have any insight or way for me to accomplish this. Thank you.

[My apologies in advance if this subject has been covered in this forum, but I searched and read quite
a few posts, but none that I saw covered this topic.]

Hello jeanie kiser,

We do not support exporting to third party file formats (other than images), but the OCR text layer is editable. Just select the "Edit Content Tool" and you will be able to double click the invisible text and edit it. This will make it visible, so if you want to hide it again after the Edit - you will need to change it's properties back to what they were before the Editor - change the Fill Color to None.

Stefan
