German translation: Redo <> Repeat

For Viewer and Editor.

The English "Redo" (Ctrl+Y) is translated with "Wiederholen", which means "Repeat it / Do it again". But it says "Undo the last undo", so in German "Wiederherstellen".

(In MS Word the same feature does a "Redo" and a "Repeat", and the wording is changed. But here there is no "Repeat", it is "Undo the undo")

@Support:
Is it correct what I say?

@BigMike:
If I'm correct, will you update the translation?

Regards

Peter

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the post - We do not have any employees that speak German, so we can't really advise on whether or not you're correct, in this.

We'll have to wait for BigMike, or another of our German customers, to advise further.

Thanks,

I meant that you can confirm or refuse that "Redo" is not a "repeat" but an "Undo of the undo".

Hi Peter,

Sorry for the misunderstanding - yes, that's right; redo 'undoes' the undo action.

Cheers,

I want to support Peter2: the common German translation for the Ctrl-Y function is "Wiederherstellen".

Hi Mattes57,

Thanks for the post - BigMike submitted new translations over the week, they should be uploaded to the site within the next few days, so please try them when they have been uploaded.

Cheers,
