Re: PDFXVE5.x64.msi won't accept my CPU
An installation package indicated by "X64" is meant to be installed on Windows Operating Systems that are 64-bit.
Windows XP exists only in 32-bit.
Windows 7 exists in both versions, 32-bit or 64-bit.
On your computer you probably have the 32-bit version.
So, when you get the message that the "X64"-package is not supported, then you have got to download and install the "X86" version, which corresponds to 32-bit.

Re: PDFXVE5.x64.msi won't accept my CPU
Hi guys,
Thanks Willy, I would agree here - while it is possible to have a 64-bit installation of XP, it seems to be (at least, in my experience), more common to have 32-bit installation of XP. I suspect that this is because a 64-bit version wasn't released until some years after the initial release of XP
Please do try the 32-bit MSI or, alternately, the EXE (both below) and see if that helps:
EXE

32-bit MSI

HTH!

Re: PDFXVE5.x64.msi won't accept my CPU
Hello DennistheTracker,
Having a 64 bit processor does not automatically mean that your OS is also 64 bit, and you will need a 64 bit OS to install the 64 bit package.
Please simply try using this installer:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/downloads/PDFXVE5.zip
It contains inside both the 32 and 64 bit versions, will automatically detect which one you have and then deploy the correct files for you.
Regards,
Stefan
