Callout box
Hello, After inserting a callout box, if I move the arm coming out of the box to another side of the box and then move the box around, the arm goes back to its original location. It seems Editor tries to automatically find the best side of the box to connect the arm to. Is there a way to turn off this auto adjustment feature? Also, when a callout box is selected, a rectangular blue box shows up around the whole callout box and the arm and arrow. How to turn off that blue box? By the way, the behaviour of callout box in Viewer was very neat. Thanks.

Re: Callout box
Hi power1,
Thanks for the post - this was a known issue with older builds. I would recommend first taking a look at the following KB article, then updating to the latest build/version:

Good morning! Thanks for the reply. I should have mentioned that I am using Version 5.5 Build 309.0 and I see that behaviour.

Re: Callout box
Hi power1,
I actually may have misunderstood the issue here - I believe that this is actually a feature rather than a bug, as this seems to be an auto-adjust that moves the 'arm' to the optimal space. I can pass along a request for an option to turn this off, if you would like?
Cheers,

Re: Callout box
Yes, please! That feature is driving me crazy As I try to adjust the exact location of the box, the arm moves automatically to another side and I have to move it back to the side I wanted. For me, the Callout box behaviour is perfect the way it is done in Viewer.
Edit: This would be good also: It can do its auto feature thing as default, but when manually the arm is moved to one side of the box, it will come out of auto mode and lock the arm to that side until the arm is moved manually again.

Re: Callout box
An option "Auto Adjust Arm Position" is added to the context menu of the callout tool.
This feature will be available in build 310 of the Editor.
