New PDF - import image

Post by Peter2 »

I tried to scale an imported image, using the "grips" on the corners of the image. But I did not find an option like "keep properties of width and height", and this is why I got a deformed image.

Where can I find this option?

If you resize the image using the corner handles, the image's aspect ratio is retained.

I see no way to distort it. An option to do that with Shift might be useful, but is really not necessary.

Hi Bhikkhu,

It is actually not preserved for me when using the corner handle. Shift-drag to preserve ratio is planned for a later build, and in the mean time you can use the "Object -> Transform" for preserve the aspect ratio Peter.

Stefan

Any news on when the "maintain aspect ratio" using shift or control key when dragging a corner is likely to be included?
It's still not working in V5.5.309.0.

Hi Bob,

This was implemented quite some time ago and whether it is the shift key, or Ctrl key that is used is dependant on the tool being used. For annotations, this is the Ctrl key.

HTH!

The functionality exists for graphic objects created in Editor, eg circles, but not for objects selected after pressing the Edit Content button.

Hi Bob,

I wasn't actually aware of that. I will pass this onto the Dev. Team and will post back when I know more.

Cheers,

We will add it in near future, maybe in next build. Please wait.
