pdf in browser

Internet explorer - It takes time to download/open the file. The delay is noticeable, may be a bug. Tested few times opening avcomparatives realworld protection results pdf.

Google chrome - Tested same as above. A tab opens & nothing happens i.e pdf doesn't open.

Can anyone verify?

Win 7 64
IE 11 latest
Google chrome latest
PDF editor 307.2 latest fresh install

One suggestion. When you open a pdf in browser, the browser is shown blank till the file is downloaded & opened. It would be good if editor interface is there with file download progress.

Hello narenbisht,

The problem is that in this case the browser is handling the download, and only after the whole file is downloaded it is passed to the Editor.

As for Chrome not displaying anything - this is a bug in Chrome as discussed here:

Try resizing the window and the Editor plug-in should appear.

But the prob in IE is not there with 307.1.

And what do you mean by editor plugin will appear?
Editor plugin is there in Google Chrome but PDF doesn't appear.

And please consider the suggestion

I reinstalled 307.2 & IE prob is solved.

Thanks for the update - I'm glad that you resolved the IE issue.

When you say that the PDF still isn't opening in Chrome, are you referring to the issue where the window is grey? If so, please see the link that Stefan previously posted, as this is not an issue with our software, but is an issue within Google Chrome itself.

Yes the window is grey. So the prob is chrome.

I have disabled editor plugin for now & using chrome default pdf plugin.
