XChange Editor superseeds XChange Viewer, viewer will be end-of-life in some time.
So: Is Editor 3.0.307.1 running on Windows 2008-R2 Server with terminal services enabled?
How to install/uninstall it?
(There is a todo for older viewer: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowled ... nal-Server )
Thanks, best regards.

Hi pdfcoder,
In this topic you say you managed to install it already:
https://forum.pdf-xchange.com/ ... 62&t=20632
So shall we consider the current one resolved?
Cheers,
Stefan

I don't know the thread, I have not been involved.
So OP questions are still open...

Ahhh I see...
The other post is regarding Xchange Viewer, not the new Editor. Same procedure for installing on win2008-ts?
Exe has been renamed...
And: How to do a clean uninstall of terminal server modification done by
PDFXCview.exe /makeassoc:web=true
Thx...

Re: Editor on Win2008-R2 Terminalserver
Hi pdfcoder,
change user /install --> install Editor using GUI --> set Editor as default using GUI in Editor or allow it so set itself as default on starting the Editor --> change user /execute
There is nothing different about setting up the Editor than what you should expect from any application.
hth
indeed the installation procedure is the exact same for the Editor as it was for the Viewer. The other post is regarding XChange Viewer, not the new Editor. Same procedure for installing on win2008-ts?

You should simply do a normal uninstall of the Viewer (if you no longer want to use it, both can be installed at the same time if you want) and install the Editor as per standard RDS procedureAnd: How to do a clean uninstall of terminal server modification done by
