Document page size?

Post by mjesecbekrija »

I can't find option to enable document page size info, one that's always visible. PDFX-Change Viewer has this by default in lower left corner.
This is first thing I look to when I open any PDF doc. If you plot document with different page sizes this info is crucial.

The page size is shown in Document Properties dialogue.

I always thought that using an entire toolbar with no option to turn it off just to show the document size was a waste of space. I am sure that you need to see it, but I don't think most users do.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the posts - this is something that we're going to be adding, I believe in build 308.

It's going to be slightly different than in the Viewer, so as to minimize the wastage of space.

Hope that helps!

We usually work with documents containing not only A4 paper sizes, but also A3, A2, A1, A0, and custom paper sizes.
Finding size info trough Document Properties or trough Print window for every single page is a waste of time.
Option to show/hide page size in UI would be perfect.
Thanks for info.

Thanks for your comment mjesecbekrija,

As Will said - we are working on that and will see to add it in a future build.

Any news on the subject?
I'm still holding on to Viewer because of feature to display page size.
Even Adobe has this feature as a simple tooltip.

Thanks

Hi mjesecbekrija,

Thanks for the post - this feature has already been implemented. If you have a license for the Editor, then it's worth noting that we've moved to a new serial key format and protection system, so I would suggest reading this KB article before updating:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowledgeba ... rade-Guide

Download: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/PDFXVE5.zip

The page size display is similar to Adobe in that it will not be present unless you are mousing down in the bottom left corner.

HTH!
