Scan to existing open PDF

Post by thomas e komsta »

I know there are a couple of ways to combine PDF's, pages, etc. using thumbnail drag and drop or Combine Files into Single PDF.

I recall way back when I had Acrobat 5 that you could open an existing doc then request a scan. Acrobat would present a popup asking if you wanted it as a new doc or do you want to add it to the existing open doc. Not a big deal but can Editor do this?

Best work around I've come up with is to open the existing doc, scan the new doc, open thumbnails of both docs then drag the thumbnail of the newly scanned page to the end of the thumbnail list on the old doc.

Just curious.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the post - this can be done by going to Document --> Insert Pages --> Scanned Pages.

HTH!
