Request: Option to disable/hide PRO features

Hello forum,

we want to replace Adobe Reader in our company with PDF-XChange Editor. So all computers should get the editor installation but not all users need the PRO features. They need just a simple PDF viewer. (For example the clients at the workshop.)

Our plan is to install the Editor on all computers with GPO, but not add the license key to all. So the rest use just the FREE version.

It would be really cool, if we can disable or better hide the PRO features on these computers. It has a better usability, if the user don’t see menu items, they anyway can’t use.

This is not popssible in build 306 of the Editor, but I see that we are planning to add a "Hide Pro features" option in build 307 of the same. It would most likely work the same as the similar option in the Viewer.

I too am waiting for the next release & hope most of the features/options mentioned by the users are included.

The voices of our users have certainly been heard, but do note that there is obviously a limited amount of items that can be included, within the timeframe the Dev. Team have. They have also had to prioritize certain features so that as many of the most requested features, as possible, will be included, along with fixes for many existing issues.
