Italic gets converted to plain text.

thanks for the report and sample. This is something we can change in the Editor in future. I have created a Feature Request Support Ticket around this. RT#2109: FR: Add support of italic simulation to the content text editor

We can't at present offer a timeline for implementation, most likely early next year after the final Viewer features are ported to the Editor.
