Ugrading to PDF Editor V 3.0 from PDF-XChange Viewer PRO

Sorry if this has been answered previously. I installed PDF Editor V 3.0 (build 305.0) and it recognized my serial key. When I created a PDF from image files using PDF Editor it placed the "click to buy PDF Editor" watermarks in the upper corners of each page of the document. Am I required to purchase the newer version or is this a bug?
