-UPDATE- v3.0.3xx FEATURE/progress

Hii Tracker Support Team.

I hereby start an initiative, in which I/we could try to elaborate/clarify, which new features, progressions, things to (beta)-test in the new editions/versions of Pdf Editor v3.0.3xx.

So, please tell: What is "new / worked at / added / corrected" in the just-released version ? (starting with v3.0.304) ?

On 21st October we will release the 'gold' version of the Editor and it will replace the Viewer as the primary free and paid for product for both viewing and editing - all mainstream development on the Viewer will also cease at this time.

All subsequent releases AFTER this build will then have a version history with the requested detail

Is there a typo?

There is an April 2013 post that "PDF-XChange Editor is GOLD !!!!!!!!"

Also, does the post mean that I can download the Pro package that I paid for and that will install the Editor, not the Viewer?

From 21st October the PRO package will contain the Editor and not the Viewer as now - whilst we considered the Editor Gold in April of this year many users felt that some key features either expected or in the Viewer but in the Editor were not present - hence the reason it did not replace the Viewer and the Editor was not available for sale only as an additional utility if you owned a qualifying license - the next release includes a comprehensive set of features and we are confident it includes so many new features along with the core required set from the Viewer's feature list - that it stands on its own in every sense.

Well we all new that it wasn't really gold. More like bronze, back in April.

But I don't care about that. What I do care about is that 21st October will be a great day! Looking forward to the release.

I really hope the re-released gold version of the Editor fixes many issues. I have been using the Editor for a while now and almost daily I open a common pdf where pages simply will not render in the Editor and I am forced to go back to opening them in Adobe (and I hate Adobe). I was a huge fan of PDFXVr and still love the Editor, it just needs more polish. October 21 will be a big day for Tracker Software if they can iron out all the issues with the Editor - here's hoping...

Seriously, still no customizable toolbars and customizable keyboard shortcuts? Still no (working) link creation tool?

Honestly, I can't see any differences to the previous version, feature-wise -- although I suppose there has been some polishing and bug-fixing behind the scene.

I am disappointed, I must say

"Again", I have to add -- regarding the progress of PDF Exchange Editor.

The release of build 3.0.305 has not yet happened. Our devs are in the Canadian office, and the release of the finished Editor build will happen later in the European afternoon/evening.

Thank you Stefan. I saw the release date of v.304.0 (October 21st) and concluded that it be the "final" Gold version already.

The still current version is actually from August 21st and not October
"Current Version:3.0.304(Updated on 21 Aug 2013)"
