Compare tool

I have read that You have plans to add compare tool also to the new Editor.
Can You give some kind of time frame when it will happen?

Hello asuuk,

For now we do not have an automated comparison tool, but it's still something we have in mind. And for manual comparison - it's much easier to open two documents side by side with the new Editor. Just open both versions of the file, and then drag the tab of one of those outside the Editor window. This will start a new Editor window and you can now position both so that you can see both versions of your file side by side and compare them.

Is there any chance of being able to use the "split" function to show two different files side by side?
If so, it would be good if the user could toggle between keeping them in sync, or not, as required.
