How to deny tool bars in terminal server

Post by berathann »

hi everybody

we are using a windows 2003 based terminal server enviroment and installed pdfxchange free version to work with pdfs. But while our clients trying to open a document via web based apps all the tool bars reveals. is there any chance to deny some of them and let users see only file standart and navigation panes.

10x in advance.

Hi berathann,

Not employing the Viewer ActiveX SDK, which can load these settings from a settings file, the enduser browser plugin can be customized only by changing registry settings. Please have a look here: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tracker Software\PDFViewer.IBrowser\View\Bars.

You would need to set these up the way you want in one profile and then create a customized reg file you can import to each users profile, or however that is done with Terminal Server.

Hope that helps

Chris
If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.
