Greetings all,
I've had PDF-XCHANGE for several months now. When I first started using the Perimeter tool, upon finishing drawing the line, it would display the dimensions of each line segment. Now it is not doing that, and I do not see a setting that tells the software to do that. Is this still a possible function because I really liked it when it comes to dimensioning multiple lines in a row.
Thanks,
Perimeter Dimension Lines

Re: Perimeter Dimension Lines
Hi smccrary@rosemccrary.com,
it does show the properties of each segment as it is being laid down:
But I am not aware of ever having a way to display these after completing the object. I asked the devs about that and I don't think we ever did that.
I guess since you don't see it now you can't get us a screen shot of this...

Re: Perimeter Dimension Lines
Greetings,
Thank you for the response. Sorry to take so long to get back here with a response.
I kinda' went through my history and could not find an example.
Essentially it would do what is shown in the attachment.
Before purchasing this software, I did try some other pdf editors -- maybe it was another editor, but that is not how I remember it.
LOL and c'est la vie.

Re: Perimeter Dimension Lines
Hello, smccrary@rosemccrary.com
I am afraid that is not a feature we have offered in the past, nor one which we offer currently. Even if we add line endings to the perimeter tool, only the "ends" of the line are affected, not the midpoint angles. I cannot make any promises that we will be able to change this, as to my knowledge, measurement handling and display is heavily restricted by the PDF specification, but we will look into it.
Kind regards,
