Opened a pdf in adobe and its totally different version

We received an editable PDF, and when opened in PDF exchange it seems its an older version. However when opened in adobe 11, the version the sender meant to submit is shown on screen.
Any help please?

Thanks for the post - I'm afraid it's impossible to tell what might be happening without seeing the document itself. Could you send a copy?
If you don't want it to be available to the general public, then you could send it to
support@pdf-xchange.com, with a link back to this forums and we would take a look there.

Will. Thanks for the reply, I cant send the document as it contains confidential data regarding a lottery grant. I will try to strip the data and send it to you,

Hi John,
If possible, it would definitely be appreciated - without the document, or another sample that displays this behaviour, I'm afraid that we would be unable to advise on what specifically could be causing this.
The only real suggestion, that I could make, would be to make sure that you have the latest Version of the Editor and see if that helps:
