I have provided a link below for a PDF that does not upload to your site. It may be too large. Please download this PDF instead from our FTP site by pasting the link into a browser.
ftp://support:support@doc-it.ftpstream. ... 20v001.zip
This PDF, which seems normal, will cause an "Codec [Compression error]" error for any operation that requires the PDF to be saved. This error can be demonstrated by running the "Add Watermark" function on this PDF in the "VB_PXCProSample.exe" that comes with the PDF-Tools 4 SDK.
This is a very important error within our document management application.
Thank you in advance.

Re: Error in Saving PDF
Your file has invalid content streams on pages 226, 227, and 228 (objects 4160, 4179, 4192). Adobe Reader and the PDFXchange Viewer simply ignore them, but PDF-Tools does not. This is now fixed and the, fix will be available with the next build.

Re: Error in Saving PDF
As usual, beyond excellent response. Thank you.
Do you have a policy on releasing updates once a bug has been reported, in terms of how long it takes to get the update out? We need to schedule a patch to our customers to fix this bug and it would be very helpful to have some idea of your turn-around time on patches.

Re: Error in Saving PDF
Hi,
We usually expect an update about once every 4 weeks (though this is always dependent on the volume and severity of issues etc) - the last update was just over 1 week ago - so approx 3 weeks or so would be the next expected release.
Hope that helps
