Change log between V3 and V4?

Hi,

perhabs I'm too blind but I could not find a document what has changed between Version 3 and Version 4 of SDK. Does such a document exists?
I'm especially interested in changes for the plain viewer dll (not activeX version) and text extraction area.

Hi,

The most significant changes to version 4 SDK's are to security - AES encryption has been added to all parts and the PDF-XChange Drivers (significant changes - but feature wise and functionally)

With regards the Viewer (up to Build 2.036) - the majority of changes continue to be in the ActiveX - little has changed in the Simple DLL (nor will there be significant changes as there is little that can or needs to be added - after all the essential function of that is to provide a rasterised Bitmap of the PDF file/page) and to ensure that any problems with opening specific PDF files continues to be maintained if any issues arise of course.

If there is something specific you are particularly looking for - please do feel free to ask - but please do be advised that the bulk of feature functionality will continue to be provided in the Viewer AX - rather than the Simple DLL - that's the way its designed to be and I cannot foresee that altering dramatically.
