Hi,
Is there a way to view/edit the XMP metadata of a PDF file using the PDF Tools SDK?
TIA,
Jan

Re: Metadata (XMP)
No, PDF-Tools SDK does not support XMP metadata.

Thanks for the reply, Ivan.
Any chance that this will be supported in the near future? I need support for ZUGFeRD invoices (PDF/A-3b with xml attachment and specific metadata). Until now I could do anything I needed with your excellent software, but now I'm hitting a brick wall...

Re: Metadata (XMP)
Hi Jan,
this will be possible with our new PDF-Tools SDK which is nearing release now - the name will probably change to the PDF-XChange 'Core API' - and you can see some preliminary info here;
https://sdkhelp.pdf-xchange.com/view/Main_Page
The whole structure of our PDF SDK's will change as we release these new products - for example there will not be separate libraries as such requiring that you create a PDF with one library and then close and re-open with another library to add or modify content - as explained in the opening pages from the link above.

Hi Jan,
You can already - but note the download will include the ActiveX for the Editor/Viewer which is not part of the basic Core API SDK;
