Hello,
I have a DOCX file that comes out 5 times its original size after printing.
Under the compression tab I set everything to Auto, the jpeg quality to 100% and the jbig method to standard.
When changing the color images compression method to ZIP the file size reduces dramatically from 2000KB to about 700KB.
Any ideas what I can do?
And also, where can I get some more information on these different compression methods?
Thank you very much,
Guy

JPEG with 100% quality can produce large streams.
You can find information about different compression algorithms using Google

It depends with Word and OS are you using.
On my Windows 7 with Office 2007 the best result I got when set Monochrome compression to JBIG2 (Crop Borders) and Indexed to ZIP.
All depends how Word prints images contained into your document.

Re: DOCX File comes out large after printing
No problem - hope you get there ...
If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.
