Hello,
I downloaded the current version of the Pro SDK install and it didn't come with the Drivers SDK. Was it supposed to? If not, does it say somewhere that you need to download them separately? For someone that is not 100% familiar with your products this can be rather confusing when trying to test functionality.
Can I please get a .chm version of the drivers sdk? The pro install had one pdf file that said no help files were download, and then it also had a SDK Help folder that had all the help files but the driver ones. The .chm versions were nicely laid out and easy to navigate. The pdf ones were worse, and the online ones worst. The tutorial pages and several others ones I looked at have the default paragraph that is supposed to tell your staff how to write a helpful page. That doesn't help me much... Please email me any helpfiles that you have for the driver sdk.
Thanks,
Steve

Re: Help Files
Hi Steve,
thanks for the post. It sounds like you may have installed the Viewer Pro SDK. What was the file name of the installer you used?

Re: Help Files
Another reason I would like an actual help file is because when I click on https://help.pdf-xchange.com/DEV/de ... _Bookmarks
It just shows https://help.pdf-xchange.com/DEV/de ... _Bookmarks
Same with the Section General, and Section Save help topics when I click on them in IE9. Pretty hard to test your software if I have to guess what the syntax is.

Re: Help Files
That's a bit strtange for sure. that is the Pro Bundle installer. I get a screen during install indicating that the drivers wil be installed. (Also build 270).
Do you get anything like that? Indeed I am not able to install this SDK without the drivers component.

Re: Help Files
I think I just accepted the defaults. It was a couple weeks ago now though so I can't quite remember. Do you guys have a help file for the drivers sdk?

Re: Help Files
HI
the Drivers API installs with the SDK, at least a link to it. It's now online here: https://help.pdf-xchange.com/DEV/de ... in=pro5sdk I'm afraid it isn't a file any more.
If you don't have the Driver files I suggest you re-install the SDK PDFSDKPRO5.exe
Let us know how that goes?

Re: Help Files
Can I have the old version of the help? The online one is rather lacking still and is frustrating with all the dead links. It seems that clicking based on the menu on the left works a lot better than the structure up top or the in text links. But on the left you still can't expand things fully unless you are already on certain pages. And if I click on some of the links that don't work than I lose the menu on the left and my spot.

Re: Help Files
In https://help.pdf-xchange.com/DEV/de ... okmarkitem_
correct spelling of all examples is AddBookmarkItem not AddBookmakrkItem
The drivers are installed. I just need a help file that is complete.
Thanks

Re: Help Files
For the dwDetectFlags option of adding bookmarks, how do you specify the bit combination integer value? I don't know what that is. The possible values are even while in the VB examples on the page the value is odd. Do you add up all the values you want? Like 7 is value 1, +2, + 4?

Hello speed804,
Please do send us an e-mail to support@pdf-xchange.com with a link to this topic and request the drivers API manual and I will see to provide you with a copy in PDF format.
