Hi Tom,

Thanks for the post - I've pass this along to the developer responsible for the OCR SDK and he's looking into it now. We'll post back as soon as we have an update for you.

Thanks,

Hello Tom,

In the old OCR SDK the page is being rasterazied with the given dpi thus the resulting size appears big. We'll try to add an Ex method that will work like the new updated OCR SDK that will lower the rasterization dpi and make the resulting pdf smaller.

Cheers,
Alex

Hi Tom,

This should be available in build 319, if all goes to plan - thanks for your patience here!

Cheers,

Hi Tom,

Did you try downloading the OCR module anew?
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/downlo ... K_LIVE.ZIP
It should be the latest build with the above issue fixed.

Regards,
Stefan

zip is password protected...

I downloaded the last pdf from the sdk download.

the veriosn i have is:
1.0.14.0
date modification: 28/11/2016

But the problem still exists. If I OCR the document in attachment the file size changes from 71kb to 716kb!
I use the OCR demo C#

Hi Tom,

Unfortunately it was necessary to postpone the release of the new OCR SDK, as it wasn't quite ready. We're aiming for build 320, after Christmas.

Thanks,
