Office 2007

Post by daveoffice »

Do the Convert to PDF buttons not work when using the trial version?

I click the buttons in both Word and Excel but nothing happens.

The PDF is created if I use the File-->Print method.

I'm using Office 2007 on Windows Vista Ultimate.

Thanks,

Hi,

It should work without problems. I'm working with Window Vista Ultimate and having no problems with Office 2007.
Do you have the x64 version of Vista ?

And please Advise the version/build of PDF-XChange you are using.

(The Printer Preferences -> 'About' TAB displays this.)

Thanks

I am using the 32-bit version of Vista.

The build of PDF-Xchange is: 4.0.0 Build 0145

Build 0146 semi-fixed the problem.

The buttons now work when I am logged in as an administrator, but not when I am logged in as a regular user.

I think that the problem 'solved itself'.

Vista's User Account Control was turned off on my computer.

When I turned it on, the buttons in Office 2007 started working.

Does this make any sense?
