Hello,
using the Office addin (5.0.264.0) I found, that the result is different in comparison to printing the document directly to the printer.
When using the addin from e.g. Excel the PDF contains somehow scattered characters and some of them are not displayed correctly at all. Creating PDF from the same document using the printer produces the correct, expected PDF.
The attached PDF contains a patchwork with the comparison of both results (upper - bad, lower - good) with highlighted areas of evidence.
I hope, you have some hints how to correct this behavior (settings?)
Regards
Piotr

Re: Different result of Addin / Print
Hello Piotr,
Please when you open the Office2PDF tool, go to it's Options and make sure that the Font embedding options are all checked.
Best,
Stefan

Re: Different result of Addin / Print
Hello Stefan,
the Font Embedding settings for the Office Addin seem not to help.
Before I checked all options I had the same settings for Pronter and AddIn (as they were not equal after installation and I supposed there to be the reason).
Attached you will find the snapshot of actual settings.

Re: Different result of Addin / Print
Hi Piotr,
That is quite strange as with the same settings the office add-in and direct printing should produce the same result.
Could you please send us a copy of the original file for testing at our end?
If the file is sensitive - send it to support@pdf-xchange.com with a link to this topic, and otherwise just zip/rar it and attach it here. Also a copy of the two different results that you get on your machine with the two separate printing methods would be very helpful.
Best,
Stefan

Re: Different result of Addin / Print
Hi Piotr,
And thanks for the samples sent to our support e-mail.
It turns out the problem is the same as the one here:
https://forum.pdf-xchange.com/ ... 981#p54981
And unfortunately there is no solution we can offer other than using File -> Print.
Best,
Stefan
