Hi, I am evaluating different PDF printers and trying to find one that works with SAP.
When I use PDF-XChange, and click Print from SAP, the spool request is successfully sent and shows up in the PDF-XChange Printer queue and then goes away.
I am never prompted for a Save As and no pdf file is generated.
Doing a Test Print from the printer's properties works great.
I know I have it configured properly in SAP because I can successfully print with other PDF printers. I prefer to get this product working though because we already own it.
Thanks for your help!
Julie

Problem Solved
Hi, Problem solved.
When setting up PDF printing, SAP instructs you to create a Printer in SAP that uses Device Type "PDF1 : PDF ISO Latin-1 ". The PDF-XChange utility seems to function like a regular old Windows printer, so I tried changing the SAP device type to use "SAPWIN:Rel.4.x/SAPlpd 4.09+" instead and that solved the problem.
Also, SAP cannot work with printers that have spaces in their names so I had to rename the printer from the default "PDF-XChange 4.0" to "PDF-XChange40".
Thanks, Julie
