I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question....
I'm trying to create clickable section cut links when printing to a pdf from Revit. Basically making the section cut a hyperlink.
My understanding is that Revit "automatically does this", but it must depend on which pdf software you use. If I use Bluebeam's printer, it works. However, if I use PDF-XChange Printer, there are no links. I assume this has to do with the pdf printer I'm using?
Is there any "general setting" that I can look for in other PDF software to determine if the links will be made?

Re: Create clickable section cut links when printing from Revit to PDF
Hi,
Sorry if I do not correctly understand your question, but I suppose you are simply talking about recognizing hyperlinks in your documents and converting them to clickable hyperlinks in your resulting PDF files ?
So, if it goes about hyperlinks like "https://www.pdf-xchange.com", this will work if you go into the printer driver settings of the "PDF-XChange Standard" printer, and go to "Links" and mark "Analize URLs in Printed Text".
Hyperlinks like "click here" will not be recognized.
In PDF-readers (like PDF-XChange Editor) there is often an option to automatically interpret text like "https://..." as hyperlinks.
This option is in File > Preferences > Page Text > Create Links from URLs in page text".
Regards.
Willy
