pdfSaver and queuing prints

Post by bqxmprij »

In prior versions a few years ago, print jobs could be sent to pdfSaver and queued. Is that still possible? I don't see an option to invoke pdfsaver from the preferences window.

I tend to print a lot of websites and then want to combine them in a single pdf. That is a lot easier when queued so I can save once instead of n times.

I don't see how from here: https://help.pdf-xchange.com/pdfxs9/.

Hi, bqxmprij

Unfortunately that feature had to be removed due to some technical issues it presented in numerous versions of windows. We have recently begun discussions of attempting to bring it back, but at the moment I am sorry to say that it is not available, and I cannot promise that it will return.

Kind regards,

Bingo - exactly what I was trying to sort out here as well - we recently switched everyone to PDF-Xchange and now getting flooded with users wanting this feature that they had in the prior software.

So count me in for a yes vote on this feature.

Cheers!

New PDF-XChange Pro user here, resurrecting a zombie thread / request.

This is a big deal for me as well. I have been joining documents into one PDF in print jobs for years. It's particularly useful when creating a PDF from print jobs of multiple different programs.

I had uninstalled my (other brand) printer when I bought PDF-XChange, but I just had to put it back on.

I'm not sure what coding / compatibility issues there are, but a number of other solutions out there seem to handle it fine.
