I use pdfSaver (PDF-XChange Lite version 9.0 build 352) for printing Word Office documents to pdf format.
That works nice indeed.
However when I use emoji symbols, these are always followed by a dark shadow in the pdf file.
What should I do to avoid this problem?

Many thanks in advance for looking at this small problem.

Re: Emoji symbols wrongly printed
Hi, henrinieb
it appears that the dark shadow is simply the "background" of the emoji's being placed improperly. Could I ask you to please send us a copy of these documents, so we can do a few tests with them?
Kind regards,

Re: Emoji symbols wrongly printed
Hello henrinieb,
Thanks for the sample file! I've managed to reproduce the issue and created a ticket in our internal system:
#5517: Printing Drivers: Printing a Word document with Emojis gives incorrect result.
So that this can be fixed!
In the mean time - please try to drag and drop your .docx file over the Editor - and the conversion should be correct.
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: Emoji symbols wrongly printed
Hello, Stefan.
Thank you very much for the quick support!
And indeed I can drag the Word document file over the PDF XChange Editor and the emoji symbols are converted well.
Thank you for sharing this workaround.
Have a nice day!
Henri
